Our Lips are one of the most sensitive parts of our body, 100 times more sensitive than our fingers. Such a sensitive part of the body requires equally sensitive care. We at TreeWear believe that less is more - that is why we use none of the harmful synthetic ingredients like Petroleum derivatives, artificial fragrances, chemical sunscreens & preservatives in our formulations.
TreeWear's promise to contribute to a tree planting project per product sold means that these are truly some of the most sustainable lip balms to be found anywhere. "What goes on, goes in" - especially in the case of products we use on our mouths, which can be easily absorbed or consumed by us throughout the day. Why then should we have harmful chemicals like petrolatum, parabens, phthalates, artificial colours & fragrances on one of the most absorbent & sensitive parts of the skin as part of our "skin care" routine?
No animal testing
At TreeWear - every ingredient in our lip balms have have been tried & tested through the ages to provide better care for our lips so that you can do more of what you love without worrying about cracking, peeling, & dryness.
Responsibly made
Our lip balms are responsibly handmade from ingredient to final product. This means that we never test on animals, but rather, support our claims by using decades of peer-reviewed research to know that our product works, doing what we say it does. We then rigorously test the products on ourselves & our core product insiders before putting them out into the market.
Every TreeWear product is made keeping these ideals at the core of our business strategy, so you can focus on being a softer, kinder you - for the sake of the planet. It's also easy to carry in your bag, pocket or travel kit so you can use it whenever, & wherever. Each container of our natural lip balm is handmade in small batches by artisans whom we have trained to maintain the highest standards of quality & each tin even contributes toward a tree in one of our tree planting projects around India, eventually giving back to rural communities & promoting biodiversity.
